Sanford Auto Glass is a website of Impex Auto Glass, set up so drivers in Sanford and Lee County can find the service under the name they search for. Everything on this site, from the windshield replacement to the insurance help, is done by Impex Auto Glass. This page says who that is.

Who Impex Auto Glass is
Impex Auto Glass describes itself as a mobile auto glass repair and replacement company built on accuracy, transparency and speed. It serves all of North Carolina, all of South Carolina and parts of Georgia, with mobile service throughout, and it has two shops in North Carolina: one in Greensboro and one in Charlotte. It provides windshield repair, windshield replacement, side and back glass replacement, ADAS forward-facing camera calibration, ADAS radar calibration and specialized fleet services.
Impex Auto Glass is owned by Impex Auto Sales, which Impex describes as a family-owned automotive organization headquartered in Greensboro. The wider Impex family also includes Impex Chevy, Impex GM and the Impex Heavy Metal Division.
The company grew quickly. By its own account it went from a one-person operation to five technicians within its first year, working out of a small makeshift workspace, and today it employs 36 team members. Its stated mission is to deliver accurate, transparent and efficient auto glass service while minimizing downtime.

How Impex works
Three things Impex puts at the center of its service, in its own words:
- Accuracy first. Impex uses VIN-based verification to make sure the correct part is ordered before the job is scheduled, which allows proper installation and on-site ADAS calibration when it is required.
- Transparent pricing. All quotes are fully inclusive, with no hidden fees, upsells, delivery charges, fuel fees or disposal fees.
- Fleet focused. Impex stocks common glass parts for fleet customers to cut downtime and avoid supply delays.
On top of that, Impex works with all major insurance providers, and its technicians complete both static and dynamic camera calibrations in one visit. It also offers what it calls mobile and no-contact service options.
Why there is no Sanford shop, and why that is fine
Impex does not have a shop in Sanford, and this site does not show a Sanford street address because there is none. The Greensboro and Charlotte shops are where Impex keeps its stock and its staff, and from there the mobile service reaches the rest of the state. In Sanford and Lee County every job is done at the car: in a driveway, at work or wherever it is parked. A windshield replacement done properly in a driveway uses the same glass, adhesive and calibration procedure as one done in a bay, and the technician will say if the weather or the space means it should be done another day or at a shop.
If you would rather take the car in, both shops accept vehicles, and Impex says it accepts walk-ins for minor repairs at Greensboro.
